After graduating from University College London, Robert spent 12 months in the Intellectual Property Department of Allied Domecq in the City before going on to Law School and qualifying as a solicitor with the Birmingham firm formerly known as Edge and Ellison.

A partner of Dutton Gregory since 1987, he founded the Landlord and Tenant Department in 1993. Robert’s work includes more complicated dilapidations and possession cases and work for a number of clients with large block management portfolios.

Andy Soloman is the Founder and CEO of Yomdel, the award-winning and market-leading UK experts in 24/7 managed live chat for the property industry. Yomdel works with around 1,400 estate and letting agents, including many of the country’s largest brands, helping businesses capture more quality leads from people browsing websites.  

 Andy is a former journalist and foreign correspondent, who spent many years in Vietnam and was the bureau chief for Reuters news agency in Karachi, Pakistan, where he covered the impact of 9/11 its aftermath.

He is passionate about digital engagement and helping businesses bring human interaction online.

ARLA Propertymark, Chief Executive

David Cox is Chief Executive of ARLA Propertymark. He joined ARLA, Association of Residential Letting Agents, in January 2014 bringing a sharply focused policy and stakeholder engagement perspective. David has worked alongside a diverse board of experienced practitioners from across the industry to transform ARLA into ARLA Propertymark, an organisation which protects consumers through measures including Client Money Protection, campaigning for mandatory regulation of the lettings industry and raising professional standards. David has held senior policy roles at the National Landlords Association (NLA) and the International Union of Property Owners (UIPI); a trained barrister, David has also acted as Parliamentary Advisor to a well-known backbench MP.
