Sean Banning

Sean Banning

Sean spent over 24 years serving with the Royal Air Force as a Physical Training Instructor, and his passion has always been developing people and performance.  During his time in the RAF, Sean specialised in delivering personal development through the medium of adventurous training.  He has lead high-altitude mountaineering expeditions to the Himalayas, ice-climbing in Norway and self-sufficient canoeing expeditions on some of the biggest and most remote rivers in Canada.  Sean is a Chartered member of the CIPD.  He has had a variety of HR roles in private and public sector environments and has been a key member of the respective senior management teams.  In the last 2 years Sean has focussed entirely on people development and performance in his role as a YB12 Corporate Coach and helps individuals and businesses have their best year ever by overcoming procrastination, increasing productivity and being far more focussed.  Sean lives with his young family in Colwyn Bay, North Wales and is a keen road cyclist and mountain bike enthusiast.

Philip Keddie FNAEA, CRLM, FARLA (Hon), MAPIP

Philip has been working in the south west property market for almost 40 years, having started in sales before transferring to lettings 25 years ago. He has been an active member of both NAEA and ARLA Propertymark over that time; and has been a Board member for the last 5 years. He is passionate about the industry and wants to engage with members and share that passion and pride for what we do.

Richard joined QualitySolicitors Edward Hughes in 2000.  


He works in the Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, undertaking general, Landlord and Tenant work, dealing with matters for both residential and commercial properties.


The services provided, include general advice, notices, the issue of legal proceedings and representation at Court, if required.  Client’ vary between landlords, with a single property to those with a portfolio, either based locally, the North West, or further afield.


The firm has close ties with experienced local surveyors, barristers and other specialists, who can be called upon to assist when dealing with Client matters.

Ms Bethan Jones

Ms Bethan Jones

Bethan secured a BSC (Hons) in Environmental Health in 1989 and Diploma in Housing in 1993.  She worked in housing services from 1991 in Bristol and Cardiff.  Her experience includes private and public sector housing work in particular HMO enforcement, Empty homes and Compulsory Purchase and Renewal Areas, group repair and renovation grant activities.


A key aspect of her work throughout her career has involved nurturing partnerships with local landlords, voluntary organisations, and Universities.     


Bethan currently leads Cardiff Council’s response to Part 1 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014 (brand name Rent Smart Wales) following the designation of Cardiff Council as the Single Licensing Authority for delivery of the legislation across Wales.
