Section 45 Serious Crime Act 2015 outlines the risks and consequences that professionals face if they turn a blind eye to the obvious. These so called ENABLERS have been identified as lawyers, letting agents, accounts and bankers et al who provide logistical support to Organised Crime. For too long attention has been focused just on the actual members of the Organised Crime Groups. The time is fast approaching when professional ENABLERS will be called to account.

Robert Bolwell, Senior Partner and Head of Landlord and Tenant, Dutton Gregory

Rob has been a partner of Dutton Gregory since 1987 and founded the Landlord and Tenant department in 1993. Rob’s work includes more complicated dilapidations and possession cases as well as work for a number of clients with large block management portfolios. He has an excellent reputation as a dynamic speaker for the UK’s foremost professional bodies for letting agents, providing legal updates and specialist lettings training. Rob has immense experience of landlord and tenant issues. He has been seen on BBC’s Watchdog and is a regular contributor to industry publications.

Robert is a retired Kent police Inspector. He returned to policing to help develop partnership working within the field of Serious and Organised Crime. Married with three grown up children and also a grandfather; in his spare time this year he commences studying for a Diploma in Advanced Personal Training  .

Marion Money

Marion represents the NLA in the SE as well as managing her own properties. She has been a landlord since 1974, and has a portfolio of both commercial and domestic properties. Marion sits on the Kent Housing Board and is vice chair of the subgroup focusing on the Private Rented Sector. "I see my role as keeping the Boards focused on issues affecting private landlords.”

Senior Policy & Campaigns Officer, Propertymark

Tim joined Propertymark in July 2015 having previously worked as a Researcher for MEPs and an MP. He helps ARLA Propertymark members understand key policy issues and legislative changes. Tim responds to consultations and attends meetings on behalf of Propertymark to extend its influence with other organisations and the government. Tim has played 200 National League Rugby Union games and is a local Councillor in Rugby.

Peter’s career as a property professional began over 30 years ago, during which he has covered every aspect of the lettings market. He has been actively involved with ARLA Propertymark and now in his second spell as President is determined that with the announced move to full regulation, we play a major role in the creation and enforcement of the regulatory framework.
