Important announcement regarding membership & training - 10th Oct 07

Following the amalgamation of ARLA and NAEA, arrangements for possible joint memberships are being discussed and all members will be kept aware of developments in this area. Updates will be available on this website.

A new Accredited Firm Scheme will be developed for both NAEA and ARLA members over the next few months and members will again be kept informed.

Members and non-members who have passed the ARLA Competency Tests will be contacted regarding individual ARLA membership over the next few months.

After October 5th 2007 no further registrations for the ARLA Competency Test will be accepted and those wishing to join ARLA will be required to pass the Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management or an acceptable equivalent relevant qualification. It will be a requirement that at least one Principal Partner or Director of firms wishing to join who have not already applied for membership as at 5 October 2007 hold this or an equivalent qualification before their application for membership can be considered.
