Designatory Letters: MARLA

Subscription fee £190.00 per year + non refundable £50.00 application fee, please ensure that you meet the criteria prior to joining.

Applicants must hold the NFoPP Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management, or a comparable, nationally recognised, qualification which is Residential lettings specific, and approved by the Association for membership. If a PPD at your company is an ARLA Licensed agent, once joined you too will become an ARLA Licensed agent.

It's a mandatory requirement for all Principals, Partners or Directors (PPD) members of ARLA that you have responsibilities for every company of which you are PPD, and which operates as an agent in property sales, lettings, property management, and block management. In order to maintain professional standards within ARLA, you must demonstrate that each company meets the following criteria upon joining, and annually thereafter.

Applicants must hold:

• The NFoPP Technical Award in Residential Letting & Management, or a comparable, nationally recognised, qualification which is Residential lettings specific, and approved by the Association for membership.

• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Independent redress for all business disciplines that are property related
• If holding Client Money then also the following must be supplied:
  
  • Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme cover
  • ARLA accountants report (AR) on their handling of client's money

By fulfilling this criteria, once joined you will become an ARLA Licensed agent.
