The decision of ARLA Chief Executive Adrian Turner to stand down at
the end of the year, following the successful amalgamation of ARLA
and the NAEA, has led to organisational changes
Peter Bolton King, as Chief Executive of the National Federation of
Property Professionals, NFOPP, the newly amalgamated professional
body, will automatically assume the role of Chief Executive of ARLA.
However, the day-to-day running of the Association will be the
responsibility of Ian Potter who is to become operations manager of
ARLA.
For 14 years, Ian Potter was National Council member of the
Association with responsibility for finance and compliance. Last
year he joined the Association as Business and Compliance Manager.
Welcoming the appointment, ARLA President Robert Jordan said, “Ian’s
appointment secures ARLA the services of a lettings professional of
many years standing with which to ensure the Association’s way
forward. He also brings with him an in-depth knowledge of the way
that our Association works with its members in the interests of the
whole of the Private Rented Sector.”
