Record Figures Take the NFOPP Technical Awards

The number of people passing the Technical Award in Residential
Letting and Property Management has risen this year by
approximately 25%. This is very encouraging as the industry
obviously sees the benefit in educating themselves and their
employees to a high standard of excellence, ensuring continued
professionalism within the Lettings Industry. Last month's newly
released Certificate in Residential Letting and Property Management
has been well received and within a few weeks 27 people have now
registered and commenced their training. The ARLA and NFoPP
Awarding Body created this new way of achieving fellowship for
their members The certificate offers an intermediary step between
the old diploma qualification and the level 3 Technical
Award. It enables agents to progress through the property
qualifications in smaller steps, achieving the same goals as before
but in a more measured way. The new certificate qualification
has a more practical approach to lettings and management and uses
different, but still challenging, assessment methods from the old
diploma, which will be based on real life scenarios and set by
experienced practitioner examiners
