Labour Party respond to Public Accounts Committee's report
Tuesday, October 16, 2012
Jack Dromey MP, Labour's Shadow Housing Minister, responding to
the Public Accounts Committee report on affordable housing,
said:
"This damning report highlights the failure of this out of touch
Government to get a grip on the biggest housing crisis in a
generation. In Cameron's Britain, millions are left with no hope of
a decent home at a price they can afford."
"Britain needs a One Nation government to rebuild Britain and
deliver the new affordable housing we need - that's why Labour has
set out a plan to build 125,000 homes, including 50,000 shared
ownership homes to help people get on the housing ladder, and
40,000 homes for social rent."
