Social Housing Licensing Bill

Graham Jones MP (Labour, Hyndburn) was due this week to present the
Housing (Selective Licensing of Social Housing) Bill to
Parliament. The Bill was not presented as planned, and
subsequently appeared on the Order Paper under a different name -
the Housing (Selective Licensing of Private Landlords in Exempted
Areas) Bill. With Parliament about to be prorogued, it is
unlikely that the Bill will make any further progress.
