Crisis Report – Private Renting Access Development Programme

Crisis has published a
report detailing its first year running the 'Private Renting Access
Development Programme'. The programme, which is funded by the DCLG,
has, according to Crisis "supported 49 local projects run by
voluntary and community based organisations across England in its
first year. The schemes, which work with both landlords and
tenants, offer assistance and advice on finding suitable
accommodation, budgeting, dealing with housing benefit and paying
bills amongst other services." In total, 1,370 people have
been placed in PRS accommodation.`
