Leading the way with immersive media technology

Friday 17 February 2017

ARLA Propertymark agents Sawyer and Co are leading the way when it comes to offering their clients more reasons to list their property with them.

They offer 360 degree fully immersive and interactive virtual tours of properties which they claim are are cut above the rest. We've taken a look and are mightily impressed as we're sure landlords, tenants and vendors will be too.

As the exclusive agent in the area with this state-of-the art technology, their new #lookaround service gives prospective tenants and purchasers the chance to see a property how they want to view it, wherever they are, and whatever the time it is.

Sawyer & Co. claim they are the only agents in the Brighton and Hove area to offer this innovative new idea.

Adam Farrell, Director of Sawyer and Co Said: "Whilst our professional in-house photography has always been one step ahead of our competition, now our immersive virtual tours take things to a whole new level. By simply visiting our website or social media pages clients can choose a featured property and make a virtual visit."

"Everyone likes looking around other people’s houses, even Caitlin Moran recently outed herself in The Times as having a guilty secret of watching late-night re-runs of TV property shows. Well, Ms Moran can now get right up to date with Sawyer & Co. properties by choosing her own viewings and taking a second or even third look into every nook and cranny that takes her fancy by using #lookaround."

How it works

Most people are familiar with the way Google Maps can give you total flexibility when you want to look at the outside of a building. With immersive media technology you can do exactly the same thing indoors, so you can really get a feel for an individual room or the way a whole property comes together.

Although some virtual reality ideas need special headsets or other equipment to work, these tours can be enjoyed on any screen of any size, form smartphones, tablets laptops or desktop computers.
