Hunters launches ‘super short-term’ lettings service with proptech platform Lavanda AGENT

ARLA Propertymark agents, Hunters, has announced a partnership with Lavanda, the premium ‘super short-term’ rental platform.

Hunters say that the new product, Lavanda AGENT, is being piloted with great success in Manchester, one of the UK’s best performing cities for rental growth, and offers landlords and vendors the chance to maximise income by arranging short-term lets to vacant properties awaiting sale or long-term rental agreement.

A range of studio apartments are on offer at the city centre Manchester residence, with prices starting at £750pcm. This includes open plan living spaces with a lounge and bedroom area, a stylish fitted kitchen and modern shower room. Four penthouse suites are also available, which include outdoor terraces. The property is a short distance from both Manchester universities as well as the city centre, representing a good opportunity for both students and professionals alike.

Over time, Hunters will be rolling it out on a national scale across selected locations within their network of over 200 branches and will apply to short-term rentals with a minimum stay of two nights. Providing ease for landlords, vendors and customers Lavanda will also offer Hunters’ customers full furnishing services, professional vetting, hotel-style housekeeping, in-person meet and greets and a 24/7 concierge service. Every property under the Lavanda partnership will receive maximum exposure across all major short-term rental platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, Expedia, and many more.
