This course is aimed at those with little or no experience of the property industry. It aims to give a basic understanding of the legal concepts which underlie the letting of property and focuses on the most important elements needed to avoid committing criminal offences, keep tenants safe, and protect their rights.

Caroline Cope, ARLA Trainer

Caroline Cope

Caroline joined independent Chartered Surveyors Simmons & Sons in 1989, operating from its historic centres of Henley on Thames, Marlow and Basingstoke and retired from the firm in 2013.

Caroline has been an enthusiastic member of ARLA since joining the Association shortly after its inception in 1981. She was President of the Association from 1995 to 1997. She is currently a member of the Examination Board for the Level 2 Awards. Caroline has been involved in the Private Rented Sector since 1978.
