This one day course aims to increase delegates’ knowledge of the definitions and contents contained in the Tenancy Agreement and Terms of Business, including the effect of new legislation and case law. This workshop encourages delegate participation through practical exercises in drafting clauses.

Marveen Smith

Marveen Smith is the Principal of Pain Smith Solicitors, a niche firm who are specialists in Landlord and Tenant law. As well as having a background in accountancy and tax and working in legal practice daily, Marveen makes regular appearances on 'Money Box' for Radio 4 and 'Watchdog' where she endeavours to balance the biased view of letting agents that can be presented by the media; This allows Marveen to disseminate information, and thus enable landlords to act in a more professional capacity.

Marveen is also well known amongst members of ARLA and the NAEA as she makes frequent presentations at regional meetings and landlord seminars.
