Tim has contributed to a number of articles in publications including; The Estate Agent, Agreemen tMagazine, The Independent and The Financial Times in relation to risk management and residential property in the UK.

After graduating from University College London, Robert spent 12 months in the Intellectual Property Department of Allied Domecq in the City before going on to Law School and qualifying as a solicitor with the Birmingham firm formerly known as Edge and Ellison.

A partner of Dutton Gregory since 1987, he founded the Landlord and Tenant Department in 1993. Robert’s work includes more complicated dilapidations and possession cases and work for a number of clients with large block management portfolios.

Jo White

Jo would be one of your primary training providers and relationship manager. Based in Sussex, Jo has worked for the firm for many years and substantial expertise covering a wide variety of property tax related advice.

Initially involved in internally training students within the firm Jo has developed the skillset teaching individuals tax.  This has been recently utilised through the presentations given at National Landlord Association local meetings and other property related forums such as ARLA.


Jo is frequently asked to present on topical issues at events and write for publications including Leaders client newsletter, Professional Housebuilder, Sussex Life and Kent Life.  Recent topics have included buying property off-plan, Stamp Duty Land Tax and Top 5 tax matters landlords should be aware of.  She is also the editor of Kreston Reeves Pathfinder Tax and Wealth newsletter.


Jo is a key member of the firm’s Property and Construction group specifically involved in the firm’s tax advice for property investors and developers she has a thorough and comprehensive understanding of a landlords taxation needs.
