Angela, will be presenting an update on membership benefits and services, CPD, lobbying and media, and highlight what we need from you in terms of engagement, feedback, and brand awareness. She will also be giving a breif overview on all things legal in the industry.

Matthew Hall, from the Welsh Government will be providing an update on the Renting Homes (Fees etc.) (Wales) Bill. He will also be taking questions and providing answers on FAQs relating to the ban on letting agent fees.

Propertymark Senior Policy Officer, Tim will be joining Matthew to help with a Q&A session at the end.

Mrs Angela Davey

Angela is the ARLA Regional Representative for South Wales. She is also the Head of Lettings at Peter Alan, one of the largest estate agents in Wales.

Simon White

Simon has held a variety of public service roles and is currently Head of Housing Strategy and Legislation in the Welsh Government. Simon’s role includes managing the Renting Homes legislation project, and he sees it as a strong example of how Wales is developing its own response to the housing challenges we face.

Senior Policy & Campaigns Officer, Propertymark

Tim joined Propertymark in July 2015 having previously worked as a Researcher for MEPs and an MP. He helps ARLA Propertymark members understand key policy issues and legislative changes. Tim responds to consultations and attends meetings on behalf of Propertymark to extend its influence with other organisations and the government. Tim has played 200 National League Rugby Union games and is a local Councillor in Rugby.
