Landlord Action

Paul Shamplina has spent over 25 years helping landlords with bad tenants. As co-founder he set up Landlord Action in 1999, they are market leaders and longest serving independent company specialising in fixed fee property recovery and tenant eviction in England and Wales.  Landlord Action is Regulated by the Solicitor Regulation Authority.  He has acquired a reputation as the landlord’s friend in the press.

He appears regularly on television, radio and within the national and regional press; as well as speaking at seminars to landlords and letting agents.

Paul ‘s latest TV appearance was on Channel 5’s successful series  ‘ Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, which was a hit with over 1.5 million viewers.  Paul has signed up for series 2, out in Spring next year.  He is also on the Advisory Council for The Property Redress Scheme and has been advising the Government on a Think Tank on Speeding Up Eviction Process, along with consultation on the Deregulation Act.

Paul has also launched a book called ‘The Landlord’s Friend’, with Property Commentator Kate Faulkner.

Richard has been in the lettings industry for over 23 years, predominantly as a business owner of a small/medium size independent agency. He has been an ARLA Propertymark Board member since 2015 and is passionate about member interests, adding value to membership and the implementation of regulation into our industry. Richard is also a Fellow of the NAEA

Victoria joined the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) in 2017 to lead on a National project which aims to improve the response to domestic abuse in the Private Rented Sector.  She brings her expertise from working nearly 25 years in local government, transforming services, creating partnerships and leading teams to deliver effective private rented sector services for both landlord and tenant.

Adrian McClinton specialises in Real Estate Litigation.  He has acted for land owners/landlords and high net worth individuals with portfolios and ownership ranging from the small (1- 20 properties) to the very large (70,000 + properties).

His areas of expertise are all aspects of Landlord and Tenant law (commercial and residential); breach of contract; debt recovery; and boundary/neighbour disputes.  He heads up the Real Estate litigation offering at Coffin Mew LLP.
