The strength of the Leeds market is affording a strong backdrop for many agents who have tenants looking for homes within its wide commuter belt, meaning good rents are being achieved for landlords.

However, no matter how real the strength of The Northern Powerhouse, landlords in Yorkshire face the same challenges as others throughout England, with the tapering of the mortgage interest tax relief as the effects bite.
