Complex legal and lettings update (virtual training)

Work through complex areas of letting and managing property and get up-to-date with all the recent changes in housing law. To benefit from this course you will need an existing basic knowledge of housing law and procedures.

Part one:

  • An update on all recent events in the sector

Part two:

  • Focus on the latest Housing Legislation
  • Discussion on the impact of the Coronavirus Act 2020

Part three:

  • Bringing you up to date with all the latest case law
  • Revisiting earlier decisions of the courts

This course comprises of three 90-minute sessions with breaks in between each session.

Meet the trainer

Penny Schofield

Penny Schofield

Penny set up and ran her own lettings agency for ten years before concentrating on providing comprehensive training for letting agents throughout the country. As a former Prosecutor, she is a solicitor advocate with an in-depth background in landlord and tenant law.

Penny has worked for the Home Office developing their Anti-Social Behaviour Policy (ASB) and joined their task force to promote new ASB legislation amongst both the private sector and social housing. She has been a Propertymark trainer for over 16 years.
