Effective negotiation (Scotland) (virtual training)

Understanding the principles of effective negotiation throughout the sales process is a key skill. Whilst negotiation is often assumed to only relate to the offer, it actually infiltrates the entire process and is a life skill. In estate agency it includes negotiating; commission terms, the initial asking price, any price reduction, offers and if necessary, re-negotiating after adverse surveys/valuations, all to achieve the best outcome.

Topics:

  • The ‘art of negotiation’ and the key attributes of a highly skilled negotiator
  • Practical tips to ensure that your client feels that you have achieved the best possible outcome for them
  • Pre-empt and avoid renegotiations from surveys and purchaser negativity
  • How to deal with renegotiations from surveys and purchaser negativity when they do arise
  • The multiple communication methods used during negotiations

This course comprises of two 90-minute sessions with breaks in between each session.
